The Airborne Disinfection Module adds a secondary level of protection against pathogens. This includes measles, tuberculosis, influenza, coronavirus, and other viruses smaller than <.3 microns, posing a challenge to even medical-grade HEPA filters.
Our Airborne Disinfection Module is designed to be compatible with our HEPACART® Classic, HEPACART® Auto Life, AnteRoom Classic, AnteRoom Patient Access, and virtually any HEPA-filtered negative air machine on the market.
Combining the lab-tested HEPA filtration system of the HEPACART® Classic, HEPACART® Auto Lift, or HEPAFORCE® AIR Negative Air Machines & Scrubbers with the Airborne Disinfection Module can provide up to a 6-log reduction of pathogens.
1. Use together for room renovation projects in high-risk areas in place of standard hoses and external venting, which often creates additional dust and disturbance OR when there is an absence of a ducting and venting option. The exhausted air is filtered and disinfected up to 6 logs or 99.9999% for pathogens larger than .3 microns and 99.99% for pathogens smaller than <.3 microns.
2. Use together during infectious disease outbreaks of pathogens like measles, coronavirus, tuberculosis, and influenza, where the number of patients overwhelms a facility. In this case, our AnteRoom paired with our Air Negative Air Machine & Scrubber and Airborne Disinfection Module provides 99.99% capture and destruction of virus cells smaller than <.3 microns. This setup can be part of turning a normal patient room into one that is pressurized to keep pathogens out of non-infected patient areas.
The Airborne Disinfection Module has been used with our HEPACART® Classic and HEPACART® Auto Lift in above-ceiling applications in high-risk areas as a safe substitute for hoses and external venting, which often creates additional dust and disturbance OR when there is an absence of a ducting and venting option. The exhausted air is filtered and disinfected up to 6 logs or 99.9999% for pathogens larger than .3 microns and 99.99% for pathogens smaller than <.3 microns.
