Designed to be compatible with our HEPACART® and AnteRoom product line and virtually any HEPA filtered negative air machine on the market. The Airborne Pathogen Disinfection Module adds pathogen cell destruction as a secondary level of protection.This includes measles, tuberculosis, influenza and other viruses <.3 microns that pose a challenge to the collection efficiency of even the highest medical grade HEPA filters.

Combining the lab-tested HEPA filtration system of the HEPACART® along with the Airborne Pathogen Disinfection Module can provide 6 log reductions of pathogens .3 microns or greater. 

The Airborne Pathogen Disinfection Module is for the highest ICRA Level III and IV Environments.

 

Utilized With The HEPACART® AnteRoom 

The Airborne Pathogen Disinfection Module has been used with our AnteRoom in different scenarios.

1. Room renovation projects in higher risk areas in place of normally required hoses and external venting -- which often creates additional dust and disturbance OR when there is an absence of a ducting and venting option. Air exhausted is providing filtration and disinfection up to six logs or 99.9999% for pathogens larger than .3 microns and 99.99% for pathogens <.3 microns.

2. During infectious disease surge outbreaks of those pathogens like measles, tuberculosis and influenza where the number of patients overwhelms a facility. In this case, AnteRoom with a HEPA-filtered negative air machine and the Airborne Pathogen Disinfection Module provide 99.99% capture and kill of these virus cells <.3 microns. This setup can be part of turning a normal patient room into one that is pressurized to keep pathogens out of non-infected patient areas.

The Airborne Pathogen Disinfection Module has been used with our HEPACART® in above ceiling applications in higher risk areas as a safe substitute for often required hoses and external venting -- which often creates additional dust and disturbance OR when there is an absence of a ducting and venting option.
