As the makers of HEPACART®, we are proud to manufacture the DUSTBUGGY®! The DUSTBUGGY® is a mobile dust containment cart without a negative air machine or HEPA filtration embedded in the unit. If you need to have the high safety standards of HEPACART®, but you don’t anticipate using the Negative Air Machine built into HEPACART®, the DUSTBUGGY® is a great solution. 

Plus you utilize our export adapter and utilize an external negative air machine if you find you need HEPA filtration. Even better, if you purchase a DUSTBUGGY® and decide later you need an embedded HEPA filtration system you have the ability to convert it to a HEPACART®.

The DUSTBUGGY® was designed for hospital maintenance workers and contractors that required a more cost effective solution than the plastic tent enclosures. Compared to those, the DUSTBUGGY® is more portable, sturdier (like our HEPACART®, it's built with a heavy-duty extruded aluminum base) and quicker to set up and take down. Workers familiar with the DUSTBUGGY® can transport it from site to site easily in under two minutes, and unlike a plastic tent, you can leave your ladder and toolbox inside the base during the move.

DUSTBUGGY® is Designed for the Rigors of Real Work

The DUSTBUGGY® mobile containment cart is manufactured in durable, easy-to-clean aluminum and requires no assembly prior to usage. Uses include – but are not limited to – removing ceiling tiles, minor duct work or electrical work above ceilings in hospitals and other patient care facilities, as well as in data centers and server rooms. Additionally, DUSTBUGGY® is the only environment containment cart with an embedded Negative Air Machine that is independently inspected and certified. Each DUSTBUGGY® has swivel-lock, non-marring casters that protect floors. Each wheel assembly is rated for 900 lbs./p>

Every DUSTBUGGY® Mobile Containment Unit Includes:

  • Structure: Best in Class! Heavy-duty fully-boxed aluminum HEPACART® base with each wheel assembly rated for 900 lbs. All four casters are rated for 900 lbs. each with swivel locks on one end. 
  • Electrical and Lighting: Best in Class! Three-way electrical switch wired for 120 v. allows power to be safely controlled inside and outside the cart for best IC practices. Includes 25 ft. retractable extension cord, four convenience outlets and HALO LED enclosure lighting, In-Use Light and LED shelf light.
  • Premium Door Package: Lock and key set, window and work order / permit slip holder.
  • Enclosure: Best in Class! Adjustable, fabricated using a durable, healthcare approved, antimicrobial, anti-static, fire-resistant and easy to clean material -- available in white as standard and translucent. Each enclosure has two pass-thru slips and clear zipping closed-top. Classic models have the slide-out/offset top-frame to work around wall obstacles.
